Ryan Stevenson

Who could ever imagine a drummer doing what he does best in a nightclub? Keeping the crowd hyped, entertained and dancing while drumming to the most popular club beats and DJ’s.

Ryan Stevenson also known as ‘’RJWS’’ is a Canadian drummer who started his career in the rock industry. He was a member of bands like Red October and Kamakazi. Some of both bands popular music clips aired on French and English national Television and Radio stations and two albums have been released.

After being inspired at a young age by Elvis Presley, the desire then came upon him to start playing music. Growing up listening to a wide variety of music going from metal, to hardcore, to hip hop, to pop and r&b is what kept this drummer very versatile. In 2010, after is departure from the bands, he took a different direction and started a solo career opening many new doors allowing him fulfill his need of playing music. Whether he is solo in a club with a DJ or playing for an artist, he will drum to any genre of music you throw his way.  Ryan Stevenson is currently touring across Canada in the most popular clubs and venues.

 In May 2012, Ryan was sent out to L.A. to perform with French Montana on Drake's CLub Paradise Tour ( Drake, J.Cole, Waka Flacka, Meek Mill, 2Chainz and French Montana). It was at that moment after meeting so many talented artists and witnessing such an amazing Tour that when he came back home to Canada and decided to step up his game and work even harder at achieving his dreams. 

Ryan Stevenson has set his limits high in the sky, always pushing himself a little more each time his fans and medias consider him like the Canadian version of Travis Barker. A true performer and a real entertainer, he’s not only succeeding in the music department. Ryan Stevenson also featured in ‘’Summum Girl’’ magazine and is known for his unique style and good looks.
